The article introduces the results of studying the course of acute infections of upper airways in patients living in the same city – Krasnoyarsk, but in areas with different level of technogenic environmental contamination. As a result of research it is shown that the course of acute infections of upper airways in patients living in conditions of high level of technogenic pollution of atmosphere is characterized by a long duration and severity of the disease, and also by more frequent development of complications.
